The day that kids dream of all year is finally here SUMMER VACATION! As a Mom, I love the freedom summer vacation provides, no schedule, homework or projects to worry about. But at times I can be bombarded with cries of “I’m bored.” I know I’m not alone in this, this is every Mother’s summer struggle. A vacation can be an answer to your prayers. My family loves the quick trip to the beach in California or Rocky Point, but we also enjoy a good staycation where we take a night or two and visit a local resort and enjoy the amenities there. It is a lot more affordable than a big trip, you know your way around, and you’re still close to home. But what if driving across town doesn’t quite do it for you? I’ve got the perfect solution that is always overlooked and only 2 hours away. Tucson, Arizona! I know, I know, Tucson?!?! Yes, Tucson! This city to the south has a lot to offer and is a few degrees cooler than the Valley of the Sun.
