CLIMBING ACADEMY
Homeschool and traditional options available.
This 12-week introductory class is designed to teach kids the fundamentals of climbing. The course will meet once a week for 2 hours and cover gym etiquette, technique, problem-solving skills, basic knot, top rope essentials, and bouldering essentials. Alta membership included.
BOULDER BLOC
Our Boulder Bloc introduces kids to the exciting world of bouldering and adventure in a non-competitive atmosphere. This program is designed as a fantastic way for children to connect with other young climbers while staying active and fit.
Our objectives for this program are:
- To have fun: We focus on creating a positive and enjoyable experience where kids can explore bouldering in a supportive environment.
- Learn bouldering fundamentals: Participants will gain essential climbing skills, from basic techniques to safety practices, ensuring a solid foundation in the sport.
- Make new friends: Through group activities and climbing challenges, kids will have the opportunity to socialize and build lasting friendships with peers who share their interests.

HOMESCHOOL CLIMB TIME
A 2 hour block of time that provides beginner climbers with a fun and exciting introduction to the world of bouldering.
This program is perfect for both beginners and experienced climbers ages 6 – 17, who have a non-traditional school/family schedule.
We are an approved vendor with Class Wallet for homeschool families to use ESA funds and the ESA debit card!
The objectives of this program are:

– learn the fundamentals of bouldering
– problem solving skills
– meet new friends

KID KRUSHERS
ALTA’s Kid Krusher program offers a fun and creative atmosphere for an introduction to the world of indoor climbing with both homeschool and after-school options for ages 5-7. Enthusiastic staff will guide young Krushers through a 12-week exploration-based program of climbing movement
