I know I've said it over and over again that East Mesa Karate is the best so I'm going to let another Macaroni Kid Mom tell you about how great they are.
"East Mesa Karate is truly the most amazing karate school!! It is a family run school by the Baker family. Not only do they teach Kade self-defense, discipline, gratitude and the value of hard work; they also boosted his self-confidence a ton this week. Kade had an incident that required the shaving of his head. He was really upset, embarrassed and worried what others would think of his new hairstyle. Mr. Thomas Baker approached Kade before class and complimented his new look and told him he would shave his head just like him before the next karate class. Kade’s face lit up!!! He couldn’t believe someone as cool as Mr. Baker #1 would want to be like him. Mr. Baker delivered! Kade’s attitude totally changed. Parenting takes a village and I’m blessed the Baker family is part of mine. If you are in the Mesa area you’ve got to check them out!
When I read this story I was touched, but not surprised. The Bakers are amazing people that I am also so thankful to have them as part of our tribe. They go above and beyond teaching martial arts, they are building leaders of our community. If you are even considering classes for your kids or yourself just stop by. Tell them East Mesa Macaroni Kid sent you and you will see why everyone loves them.
