Last weekend my family joined with Macaroni Kid West Mesa and checked out Action Hero Studios. Action Hero Studios is an escape the room adventure for all ages! I was so excited when we found them, not only was it the perfect business to share with my readers, but it is 100% the kind of business I love to support and pour love into. Joe, the owner/manager is a true entrepreneur, just starting up his brand new business. I'm excited to help spread the word about this great resource for fun in our East Mesa community. I also knew it was something my kids would love. Between Laura (West Mesa Publisher) and I we had 7 kids ranging in age from 1-8. The room and challenge really are intended for ages 7/8 and above, although the younger kids absolutely had a great time. Joe was so kind and patient with the kids and happily gave us some extra hints!
There is a robot named D626, he is your guide through the challenge. He is funny, and the kids and adults all found him mischievous and amusing. He is well intended but his absent minded mistake provided all of our challenges. There were several mysteries we had to solve to escape the room. The theme of the room can be changed.
