East Mesa and Apache Junction have some awesome libraries. You should all know about the great events they have since I try and post most of them in the calendar. I want to tell you about some of the other services offered or available through the library. MPL has so many awesome resources that I love to utilize with my family. Most of these are also ava through AJPL.

MPL also has the Stuffbrary where you can check out STUFF! They have outdoor items like croquet set and play at the park kit. They have a whole collection of cake pans! Yep you can check out a cake pan from the library. So much better then spending $20 for a pan you'll likely use once.
Don't miss out on the seed library! The seed library provides seeds for edible plants and herbs suited for local growing conditions. Wonderful resource as it's starting to cool down and will be perfect gardening weather soon!
Something I've enjoyed checking out is the teacher buckets. You do not have to be a teacher to check them out and they are amazing! It's a backpack FILLED with books and supplemental activities.
Do you belong to a local book club, or want to start one? I belong to one and for a while we had a hard time getting enough copies of the book for everyone to read. Then we discovered Book Group Kits. The kit not only comes with ten copies of the book, but information about the author, the book and discussion questions. Awesome right!

If you have never been to the Apache Junction Library with your kids you MUST go! It is the best library around, hands down. They have a castle the kids can climb in, a kitchen, a puppet theater, green screen tv area, computers, a playground and MORE. My kids love the Apache Junction Library!
